In all that time, I’ve remained a bit smug about the safety of using Mac OS X versus the virus-riddled Microsoft Windows. I’ve owned just about every Mac system that made it to market, starting with a Mac 512K and even owning a Mac clone for a few years when Apple let other companies license and use their operating system. In quarantine, these items are rendered inoperable and can no longer harm your system or steal data.I’ve been on Apple systems since before the Mac was introduced, and one of the first computers I really used was an Apple II. When complete, Webroot SecureAnywhere appears in the Full Disk Access list of allowed applications with a checked box next to it.Click the Applications tab, select Webroot SecureAnywhere and click Open.In the Security & Privacy window, click the add an application (+) button.Enter your mac's User Name and Password, and then click Unlock.If the Lock icon is in the locked position, click it.Select the Privacy tab and click Full Disk Access.If you are not taken directly to Full Disk Access settings, open your mac's System Preferences.In the Full Disk Access dialog box, click Open System Preferences. You should be taken directly to the Full Disk Access settings window. Webroot SecureAnywhere may ask you to grant full disk access.View information on locating your keycode. This keycode also identifies whether you purchased a multi-user license, which allows you to install SecureAnywhere on the total number of devices you purchased on your subscription.
